TV wall mounts are not difficult to install and a homeowner can elect to install it himself or hire a professional to do the installation. The mounts have a plate that will bolt into a stud in the wall, although if they are to secure a heavier TV unit, there are models that bolt into two studs. A set of rails, or in some instance, a single rail, will screw into the preexisting holes that are drilled into the back of most modern flat screen TV sets.
